CO2 Laser (Non Ablative)
CO2 Non-Ablative Fractional Laser is an alternative way of treating skin discoloration, stretch marks, acne scars, wrinkles and more. It encourages collagen production, makes the skin looks tighter, more even, and more youthful without ablating the skin. Since it is non-ablative, the recovery time after the procedure is minimised.
Similar to CO2 Fractional Laser (Ablative), a topical anesthetic cream is applied on the area to be treated for 30 mins – 45 mins before treatment. Depending on the size of the area to be treated, the actual treatment itself will take 30 mins – 1 hr. Recovery time is short and relatively comfortable. Redness, swelling, and minor irritation similar to mild sunburn may develop, but these effects typically subside in just a few days.
Because it is a limited downtime procedure, it usually requires multiple treatments for significant and meaningful results. Typically, 3 – 4 treatments about one month apart are necessary to obtain optimum results.
